Our planet is in a serious situation right now because we have not been taking care of it and instead have been polluting it in many ways. There are many activities that we take part in that harm the environment and sometimes it is hard to understand why a simple activity can create a big problem. Many people do not care about our planet, simply because they do not know what is happening to it. It is important that everyone is educated about what is happening to Earth, so we can stop damaging it. To decrease the effect of Global Warming, we all need to take action; however, that is only possible if everyone understands what Global Warming is and why we need to stop it.
- Greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, rise into the air and make the atmosphere thicker.
- Solar radiation comes towards Earth.
- The radiation leaves Earth’s atmosphere as it is supposed to.
- However, the greenhouse gases trap some solar radiation that is supposed to leave Earth’s atmosphere.
- The trapped solar radiation stays in Earth’s atmosphere and heats up Earth.
