Tropical rainforests are some of the most ancient and diverse ecosystems on the face of the planet, and their unique, mysterious and wonderful biodiversity is so massive that it can be compared to that of a coral reef. Even though we, as humans, make many efforts to preserve this delicate biome, the topic of deforestation is becoming an increasingly common article in newspapers and around the world. It may be hard to understand the importance of these dying forests, but it is of great importance that we save these amazing ecosystems, for the planet and its animal inhabitants, if not for ourselves.
